If this song isn’t an answer to “Stop This Train” (and like most of the thematic content on Born and Raised), I’ll be darned. This is such beautiful music. It is so understated and restrained that most people looking to hear “JOHN MAYER!” will miss it. Make no mistake, this is beautiful music top to bottom…it is quintessential JOHN MAYER.

Only time will back up or refute my opinion, but I’m going to say it right now: like Blue, there is not one wasted note on Born and Raised.
